EXDIFF allows the tester to compare two image files containing screen fragments, complete windows, or full screens. Multiple masking of all or parts of images is fully user-programmable. Following the comparison process a differenced image (at right) is displayed to the screen.

EXDIFF also includes capabilities for analyzing and comparing ASCII files with masks, pattern blank-outs, row/column disregards, and much more.
